TECHNICAL RIDER


Intro:
This is a program in two parts. The running time of the first half is 55 minutes and the second half is 45 minutes.

Sound:
- 2 mics:
   1 mic for the acoustic guitar (preferably AKG #414)
   1 for podium and piano (Boom).
- Stage monitors for the orchestra and the piano.

Light:
- Stand lights for all musicians
- 1 podium light

Picture:
- Film projector for 35 mm projection or Barco 8100 (9100) video machine
   (Beta SP format)
- 15 X 20 foot screen for video; 21 X 27 foot screem for film; or larger according to    the size of the stage    and depending on whether film or video is being used    (Management can supply rental information).
- A non-verbal cuing system between the podium and the projectionist booth.

Stage directions:
Mr. Fox speaks to the audience from the podium and the piano prior to each piece with the exception of the first piece in each half of the program.

In the second part of the program, Mr. Fox performs the first three songs conducting from the piano. He then returns to the podium; the acoustic guitar and electric bass go back into the orchestra, and the orchestra's pianist performs Victory at Entebbe. After Victory at Entebbe, the grand piano needs to be moved back.

Personnel:
- A sound person
- A projectionist
Both are needed for all rehearsal times.

Rehearsal(s):
Two rehearsals of 2 hours and an half (including one 20-minute break).
